ACCOUNTING MANAGER /CONTROLLER

GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Accounting Manager/Controller is responsible for the coordination and execution of all financial related activities in order to assist in the proper financial management of the company. This position reports to the CFO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produces monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Manages all accounting activities (AR, AP, Payroll, General Ledger)
- Manages job cost accounting, including inventory reconciliations
- Manages and prepares cash flow forecasts
- Monitors and manages banking relationships including lines of credit, cash flow analysis and management of short and long term debt
- Preparation of annual budgets
- Supervises staff of 3
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred
- 5-10 years accounting experience
- Job Costing experience required
- Lean Process Improvement experience preferred
- Problem analysis and resolution skills at operational level
- Supervisory skills
- Good organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
