Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate the ability to read, understand and interpret a customer’s purchase order contract
• Enter each customer’s purchase into Navision in an accurate and timely fashion
• Manage & understand all components of the order entry module of Navision
• Constantly look to decrease order entry errors/cancellations, while increasing order entry volume
• Reduce return goods by accurately entering customer’s order
• Understand the sales order, inventory, and purchasing processes
• Follow and understand process flow charts that pertain to your job
• Maintain a working knowledge of company policies and programs
• Continuously enter, print, and fax purchase orders throughout the workday
• Check Purchase Order confirmations for accuracy
• Hold a professional presence and show initiative
• Observe on-time attendance and manage break times
• Communicate and provide solutions to problems within your arena
• Maintain daily contact with vendors for proof of deliveries and order status
• Strive to be a positive team player within Customer Service and other departments
