Job Description:
Highly motivated self-starter who performs tasks and projects with a minimum of supervision. Will be responsible for providing 1st level technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction with our products. Also responsible for troubleshooting, email support, forum support of Gefen products for customers. This is a full time position with opportunities for advancement.
Specific job Responsibilities:
• Provide 1st level technical support for all incoming/outgoing customer phone inquiries.
• Provides excellent high quality technical support in a heavy call volume environment.
• Answer and respond to each area of company email: Technical Support, Sales, RMA processing and Shipping, etc.
• Process product returns(RMA) for customers
• Experience with High Definition Home Theater/Pro Audio equipment
• Must have a strong working knowledge of current OSX and Windows platforms
Applicant Qualifications:
• Have a broad experience in computer video/audio applications
• Be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of solving problems on Windows and Mac based computer applications in conjunction with Gefen products
• Have experience in a high call center environment
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills including phone skills and very fluent in English
Education and Experience:
3 – 5 years of technical experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, video media design, home theater installation or related technical field is preferred.
Wage:
$15-$17/hr to start D.O.E. We offer Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401K plan, etc. after 90 days
